Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is the same as many great rescue organizations. We have a 2 weeks foster-to-adopt program to ensure adopters and animals are a great fit. We have a adoption fee, and a contract where we commit to taking our dogs back for life if adopters can no longer keep their pets. We hold adoption events a various places and are partnered with petsmart charities for holding events at their locations. We are proud to have saved many animals since our inception in 2016, with hardly any returned to us. Contracts and Home/Yard Checks are priority.

More about this rescue

We are All Tails Matter Rescue, (formerly Maricopa Freedom Riders Rescue)
We rescue dogs out of Maricopa County Animal Control euthanasia lists in Phoenix and Mesa, Once they have been in a foster home, we get them any behavioral or medical needs met, before putting them up for adoption. We have a 2nd branch which is a rescue & sanctuary, in central Texas. Our unadoptables, hospice, frail, stay for the rest of their lives. Sometimes we have a few adoptable dogs too.We have a small TNVR program for cats, and we
also take small farm animals, bunnies, tortoises and pet birds when owners want to surrender them.
All Tails Matter Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit, donation based animal rescue organization. We are all volunteers and love helping the lost, abused and homeless little lives.
