My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Theodora!

Theodora came to us from the San Diego Humane Society on February 6th. She is just 8 years old and is an adorable pocket-sized pittie at only 48 lbs. She appears to have been used for breeding, but never again! Theodora is ready to be your special baby and spend the rest of her life being cherished.

Theodora joined volunteers and other Frosted Faces at Fido Fest, a community event where she met men, women, and children. Everyone loved her, and she loved them right back. She's a love bug and a lap dog wannabe! Theodora also does very well when meeting little dogs.

Theodora went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and she settled right into family life and enjoyed the cozy comforts of a home. Her Fling Mom reports:

"Theodora has a lively spirit, happy demeanor, and curious nature. Her favorite activities include eating, snuggling, getting pets, scratches, and doggie massages, going for walks, playing with a tennis ball, investigating all areas of the house, and being next to me. She loves to see what I'm up to and follows me around if she sees I've left the room.

Theodora isn't a barker, she knows "sit" and takes treats gently, and she is very food motivated. She sleeps through the night and has the cutest snores. She wakes up happy, tail-wagging, ready for the day. She loves to play with a tennis ball, play fetch and the treat dispenser toy as well as hop/romp around for a bit and then she conks out and sleeps for a bit.

When we take our evening walks, Theodora is a fantastic walker. She walks by my side with a loose leash, she doesn't pull, doesn't pay any mind to dogs we've encountered, doesn't bark or whine, and stops when I stop and begins when I begin walking...Have you ever seen a dog walking/trotting wonderfully next their human and wish your dog was like that? Well, Theodora is that dog!

Theodora can do about a 30 min. walk on semi-sloped terrain before she begins to tire. At that point we leisurely return home for a nightly snuggle. Theodora has a way of bringing light, joy, laughs, and energy to each day!"

Theodora currently lives in a Foster home but is still on the lookout for her forever family!
