My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jude is a 40 lb 1 yr old Border Collie mix.  His energy on a scale of 1-10 is 15.  He can jump 4 ft in the air without issue and scale a 5 foot barrier without flinching. Jude would likely make a great agility dog for someone.  He will NEED a significant amount of exercise daily and anyone that has interest will also need to continue basic obedience with him.  He already knows some commands.  He is a candidate for our prison training program once he heals up from his neuter surgery.

Jude is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, wormed, and microchipped.

Anyone with interest can stop at the shelter to meet him and complete an application to be considered.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
