Hi, my name Ms Keister. I am from a local Minnesota Shelter.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiC5lGId9EM
Ms. Keister was found badly injured and trying to survive on her own after having been bitten by an animal (probably dog or coyote from the size of the bites.) She was rescued by the Bond Between's fighter fund and wonderful veterinary care, and she was placed with a foster family to nurse her back to health. Through all of this, her wide-eyed, cheerful, curious disposition prevailed.
Ms. Keister reminds me of a dog, as she loves to follow her person around the house and to sit at their feet or by their side. She loves petting and praise, and she will gobble up as much food as you will let her have. She quickly warms to most anyone who comes over the house, and she's a wonderful lap cat who likes to have her chin and ears scratched.
Ms. Keister does have a spicy side, so she will let you know where she doesn't like petting and when it's time to eat. She does best with structure, praise and a feeding schedule. She enjoys getting her hunting instincts out in play and in clicker training. She has learned to go to a floor mat and sit on command, and she has learned to jump on any chair or shelf that you point to (for praise and a piece of kibble, of course.) She is currently learning to give her paw on command, and she answers to Kitty or Keester. Once a routine is established, she is very compliant for rewards of praise or a treat.
Ms. Keister is a litter box pro! She does have a diagnosis of IBS due to soft stools, but it's currently well controlled by a veterinary diet and food additives that she gobbles down easily.
So far she mostly ignores other cats in the house, except to try to steal their food. With her spicy side, it's best not to be in a home with small children.
Ms. Keister has been through so much in the past 9 months, and she's looking for a permanent family to love and play and relax with.

More about this rescue
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.
You can help support us today by donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing The Bond Between.
