Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Babbo is about two years old and is a one-eyed dreamboat. He is good in the crate and has been great being crated all day while his foster is at work. He sleeps soundly in it all night. Babbo is very well potty trained.
Babbo is fostered alone with a single woman but has met both men and women in his foster home (and cuddled up to them immediately). He has had a successful dog meet but still has puppy tendencies so a slow intro to other dogs is best for him to get all of his excited energy out.
Babbo loves to cuddle and nap. He likes to lay right up against you as you read, watch TV, or take your own nap!
Since he is still so young, he can still be a bit mouthy and over excited when he is meeting new people or wants to play. It is a work in progress but he is getting there!
He knows sit and is learning lie down. He is learning not to beg at the table, but listens to sit and lie down and is easily reinforced with treats. He still occasionally tries to chew non-toy items like pillows and blankets but has never gone after shoes or furniture. He is easily redirected!
He hates using a harness so we only use one on dog meets or going to the vet (anywhere he'll be super excited to see other doggos). Even without his harness he is good on walks! He still has some leash manners to learn (he tugs a little) but he is non-reactive on the leash and is such a good boy and sits to let people and other pups walk past.
He loves his toys, especially kongs filled with peanut butter and hard benebones. He is beginning to play fetch but working on the dropping part.
Overall, Babbo is a medium energy sweetheart who would love a family to cuddle with!
