Hello, I'm Cody. I have had some rough times here lately. I was brought to LCAS almost two years ago. I was in rough shape. I was not neutered and had bad skin and coat. They neutered me and started me on meds to help but my ears never cleared up or got better. So after almost a year I was placed on the euthanasia list due to medical issues dealing with my ears. The lovely people at the humane society took me in and saved my life. They are working on my ears and hopefully someone will find it in there heart to love me for who I am. Could that be you?

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
