My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar was born April 24, 2017 so he will be 7 years old this year. He is a very smart dog and was not hard to house break. When we bought Oscar he was only 13 weeks old and very nervous and frightened. The people who bred him had large great pyrenees dogs as well as shelties and Oscar was not house broken. We lived in a house with a fence at the time so he was able to go out whenever he wanted. We had to sell our house in 2022 and moved into an apartment. At first he was okay because there were not many other dogs living here. However, in the past year he has gotten very hard to handle when we go outside if he sees another dog or if a person comes toward us. He will bark and growl and run at them. He is very protective of me and this is why he acts that way. Our veterinarian says he is very calm and sedate when he is boarded with them and pays no attention to the other dogs. It is not enjoyable for me to walk with him any longer and he would be happier with someone else to love him.
