My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cola!

This beautiful girl came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she received little to no interest from potential adopters! With her stunning blue eyes, Cola is on the hunt for her furever home and it could be with you!

Cola was a heart-stealer for the volunteers at HRAS, quickly learning that any volunteer with a leash meant adventures awaited her! She's looking for an active family who can continue taking her on her beloved walks, and provide her an outlet for her energy!

She would love to find a home with another friendly dog, but may do fine as the only pup. Cats are unknown, but she should be introduced slowly to any other animals gradually. Cola would do best in a home with adult adopters or families with children over the age of 10.

Cola must be pre-registered for general obedience training (positive reinforcement) prior to adoption (proof to be sent to AFRP).

Cola is currently in boarding. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
