Mitzi is a sweet young gal with lots of fans at the shelter- here’s what they’ve said about her:
“Mitzi is a cute young thing who seems like she would be a great family dog. She`s always so happy to go on a walk when I approach her. On our walks she will excitedly jump a few times to express her enthusiasm- she is still a puppy after all! Mitzi walks well and takes her treats nicely. The first time I had her out she was kenneled with a very small dog who she interacted very well with, and they even cuddled on the same bed. I don`t want to see this girl`s happy spirit dwindle if she has to grow up in the shelter. She`s the perfect size and age to join a family and grow with them. She`s a hidden gem.”
“Mitzi is very sweet and warms up quickly. She seems to appreciate companionship, looking back frequently on our walks to check in. She is very steerable with verbal cues like `come on`, `this way`, and kissy sounds. She is a very happy and perky walking partner.”
On a field trip away from the shelter, Mitzi got to go on a hike, ride in the car, and snuggle up on the couch for movie night. She loves toys and was well- behaved during her adventure.
During a month long stay in a foster home Mitzi was a quiet houseguest who was crate trained and was described as friendly, cuddly, happy, and playful. She loves to run, but also loves a good nap!
Mitzi shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has mostly kept to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Mitzi today!!
