My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Holly is a perfect example of why we promote 'adopt don't shop.' This former puppy mill breeder dog had one purpose in life. To have babies and make the greedy breeder money. She was not shown the love and compassion she deserved. Holly is slowly learning that people can be kind and loving. She needs a home with patient, understanding people who will give her time to adjust to being a family pet. Holly has amazing potential for the right household. She adores other dogs and would love at least one friendly canine sibling. Holly's home should also have a fenced yard. This beautiful, sweet girl is ready to go from baby-maker to your baby girl.

WANT TO MEET Holly

The first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application.

Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Holly and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.org

All our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. This gives us the ability to really get to know the animals we have available and find them families that are a good fit for them based on their personalities. We do not have a shelter to visit the animals.
