This sweet little girl is starting to come out of her shell! HONEY is 4 years old and will purr and make biscuits for volunteers. She likes to lean her whole body weight into your hand when you give her head scritches. HONEY is also very interested and curious about her cat kennel neighbor, she’ll tilt her head back and forth trying to see him and if given the opportunity, she’ll gently pat him with her paw. It’s ridiculously adorable and we think she might like to have a feline friend! Homes with kids or dogs would be too much for her.
HONEY is understandingly still overwhelmed by her arrival at the shelter and noises will send her burrowing back under her blankets, but with love and patience she will continue to grow more confident. As a skittish cat, Honey will need a thoughtful and slow introduction to your house, using a single quiet room for at least a month after she arrives and giving her the space to come out at her own pace. Plus, a feline sibling might help her bravery!
