Meet Franklin!
This handsome man is roughly 8 years old, neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find his new best friend. Franklin is very happy boy, and quite active for his age! He was brought to the shelter a few weeks ago at no fault of his own, and you would never be able to tell. Franklin loves to run around and sniff outside, He's a big fan of fetch and even knows how to drop the ball for you when asked! Franklin is so spry for his age, friendly with new people, and has plenty of love to go around. We've seen Franklin eat some of his softer stuffed toys while here, so we've started limiting him to tough toys that can be gnawed on.
One thing that Franklin's future home should know about is his sensitive skin and sensitive tummy. We aren't sure if it's stress induced from being at the shelter, but we do recommend Franklin's adopters speak with their veterinarian about this once he's settled at home.
We aren't sure how Franklin gets alongs with cats or other dogs, but we do offer a 7-day foster period with each adoption to ensure a good fit for the whole family. Our canine adoption fee is $135. Franklin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing his new owners information.
