My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blossom is so eager to please her people! We belive she is a retriver mix.
Blossom is a very calm, quiet (never barks), gentle girl ---but still playful and young. She loves to take car rides and go on errands---very well behaved in the car, on a leash, and in the home. She even learned to ring the bell hanging at the back door to go out! Very sweet, affectionate, and cuddly---she would love to be someone's couch potato and bed buddy. She is also a perfect size----a smaller medium dog, 50 lbs, not too big but also sturdy enough to play with kids and other dogs. Personality is very similar to a lab-retriever ---she is a people pleaser! She is so very grateful when you put down her food, or give her a toy to play with---she always looks you in the eye with a tail wag and a kiss on the hand.
If you are looking for a calm, loving dog with a great temperament who is already trained in most of the basics, unlike a puppy, Blossom is the dog for you! "

More about this rescue

Mission Statement
Barc Broken Arrow Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the homeless Oklahoma pets. We are dedicated to rescuing pets left homeless for whatever reason. We rescue dogs in public shelters where they are at a high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.
All Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need of help take priority.
Our group remains interested in and committed to the welfare of the dog beyond the adoption process. Finally, we strive to work with area shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets. We are foster based. Our pets are seen by appointment only or adoption events.
Barc Broken Arrow Rescue is a 501(c)(3) pet rescue group, incorporated Feb. 15, 2017. All donations are tax deductible. Any overage of donation from one pet will be given to the next case.
