My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mochi could be an NHL goalie with the way he can pounce on a treat coming towards him. Or, he could be an Olympic runner when you throw his favourite toy, even returning it so you can throw it again. He loves playing, even on his own, with these toys. He also enjoys bird watching.

Mochi would be happy in a quiet, calm home with a single adult or couple. He is happy to adjust to his humans' routines. He sometimes demonstrates play aggression, so he would do best in an adult only, cat savvy home with people who are able to read and respond to his body language.

Mochi would also like to be the only animal in the home. Given his history of living outside, Mochi sometimes shows an unhealthy interest in getting out, so he would be safest in a home with no direct access to the outdoors to ensure that he stays safely inside. He can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
