Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fred-Ex is a handsome and sweet one-year-old, 35-pound, tan and white male Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Fred-Ex was found stray on the southside by a Fed-Ex driver on January 25th. He had no microchip and no collar with tags. His humans could not be found.
After only a couple weeks, Fred-Ex is looking and feeling so much better. He gets along with other dogs and cats.
Because of his obvious starvation, he is a bit food-crazed. He gets small meals a few times a day to help him get the nutrition he needs.
Despite his questionable past, Fred-Ex loves everyone.
He’s looking for someone to take him into their home and heart. Freddie is crate-trained and perfecting his housebreaking. He loves going for walks, so he’s looking for an active person who can provide daily exercise.
Fred-Ex is healthy, neutered, heartworm-tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and bordetella.
His adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Fred-Ex, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
He is currently in a foster home in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
