My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Alma!

Alma was rescued by Tails of Tijuana Rescue Project, but they have so many dogs to care of down there. Too many. They reached out for help with placement across the border, and we said "Yes!" Alma became a Frosted Face on February 9th. She is 15 years old and weighs 35 lbs.

Alma is super sweet, loves attention, pets, and laying her head in your lap. Despite all she's been through, her tail happily wags almost constantly. Alma knows she is a Frosted Face and will be safe and loved for the rest of her life! She knows how to play fetch and is well socialized with kids and dogs of all sizes.

Alma went on a two-week Frosted Fling which has transitioned to be her foster home. Here is what we have learned about her:

* Alma loves everyone she meets and enjoys back rubs.
* She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home.
* She loves treats, but she always politely waits her turn.
* Alma loves to be outside. While outside, she adorably peeks her head through the doggie door to check in on her foster mom.
* Like many seniors, she has arthritis. This sometimes makes getting out of her bed and walking challenging. Alma doesn't let that dampen her spirits!

We require that interested applicants fill out our application. A screener follows up via email to schedule a home inspection, meanwhile calling references.

Upon approval, it is required you come to Frosted Faces Foundation with all members of the family and your dogs to choose a Frosted Face.
