AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Ashley gave us quite a scare when her spay incision opened up and became infected and she required emergency surgery. Luckily, her foster mom noticed right away and whisked her off to the vet after hours. Through it all, Ashley’s friendly personality really shined and we were so happy knowing she would be safe and cherished from here on out.
Ashley looks like a shepherd / lab mix, around a year old and 45 lb, but her healthy weight is likely closer to 55 lb. She is energetic and fun with her foster family, kids and dogs included. Snuggling is her favorite and she hasn’t met a lap she didn’t like. Her activity is still limited while she continues to recover from surgery, but we can tell she can’t wait to let loose and zoom around the yard. She would really jive with an active family who wants to take her along on their adventures.
Ashley is crate trained, nearly house trained, and rides well in the car. She loves toys, especially the indestructible bones and chews. She’s a really special girl who deserves her own happily ever after! Email
