My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi y'all!
Pleased to meet you, the name's Toby Keith and the day has come for me to find my forever home! I'm a puppy with an awesome personality and the cutest face to match.

Foster mom says I'm just full of love and energy and I love to play. I am good with kids, but as I'm still an energetic puppy and sometimes don't know my own strength, dog-savvy or older kids may be best. I'm also living with chill dog and cat foster siblings; I would be great with other animals, especially another playful dog, but my forever family will have to keep working on teaching me to play gently and respect boundaries (FM says I'm not the most "delicate" puppy, I'm not sure what that means but I am a bulldog, after all!). I have *occasionally* chased the cat but only because I think it's playtime. I love toys and playing catch, my favourite is to settle down with a chewy toy (and try to steal chews from my foster fur sibling). My forever people will have to continue working with me on potty training - I'm doing really well, but working on learning how to signal when I have to go outside - and I am a quick learner. I'm also crate trained and a very good boy when left for a few hours in my crate and at bedtime.

If you're ready for all the love I have to give, drop my people a note and let's get to know each other more!

More about this rescue

We rescue mainly Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs!!!! We love the breeds and know they sometimes need extra care and love. Before you consider any of these breeds you should get familiar with the terms; cherry eye, entropian, dry eye, heat stroke, bloat, cruciate and know that sometimes these breeds can develop or have these issues. Also remember they drool, snore, pass gas and breath heavy this is not for everyone, but for us it is normal!
