Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Blue to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He has a nice fluffy coat and is lower on the shedding scale. He has a longer coat and weighs about 50 pounds. He is friendly with other dogs and has regular play time with a very dominant male dog and another smaller timid dog. He does great with other dogs. He is good on leash and very happy. He is good in his kennel and comes when you call. He does his business outside. We cannot say enough good about this dog. A family wanting an active companion to join them on hikes, walks, jogs or any outdoor adventure would be great. He is active but not in perpetual motion. He loves strangers too so you could take him to any local coffee shop and know he would be fine with lots of people. He would be fine with a moderately active family. His teeth look good and he will not require a dental appointment any time soon. He is vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He would be good as an only dog or with another dog. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. He can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful adopters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. He will make some lucky family a great companion. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
