Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Zeus, a senior dog with a zest for life that is infectious. His antics are sure to keep you laughing, from his playful romps around the yard to his curious investigations of every nook and cranny. Zeus is full of energy and loves to play, but he also enjoys his quiet time. He`s a bit of a lone wolf and would do best as the only dog in the household. Despite his age, Zeus has a youthful spirit that is sure to brighten up any home. His unique personality and playful nature make him a joy to be around. If you`re looking for a companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with laughter, Zeus is the dog for you. Give this charming senior the loving home he deserves.

More about this shelter
We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
