Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Britney is the happiest little lady you'll ever meet. Likely a pit/cur/some sort of shepherd mix, Britney will give you every inch of her love. Brit is potty trained (albeit a few accidents, but will learn quickly), kennel trained, and loves to chase a toy. Whether she's the only dog or one of the herd she'll fit right in. She loves to be your shadow and loves to be your couch buddy, she also loves to wrestle her dog friends. Brittany seems slightly too interested in the resident cat but may do well with a dog-experienced feline. A fenced yard would be best as she LOVES to chase but she also walks pretty well on a leash and as long as she is able to burn her puppy energy some way or another she'll sleep well.
Britney would probably do best in a home without small children as she has a lot of puppy energy and doesn't realize her size, but would love to play with slightly older children. She gives the best hugs.
Brit's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
