My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jaws! Jaws' owner passed away, so he is in need of a new home. One of our volunteers began fostering him. He is 2-3 years old. His mom was a feist, but not sure what breed the dad was. He gets along good with the foster's other dogs, but he has not been around any smaller dogs. He has been an outside dog his whole life, so he is not potty trained. He has a tendency to run off, so will need a fenced in yard or need to be leash walked while outside. Jaws is short and stocky. He is more timid than his brother.

Jaws was neutered on 2/12/24. Heartworm test was negative. He currently weighs 42lbs.

All CRAR dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped before adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue on a large mission. We are located in a rural low income area of Tennessee. We are foster based and have up to 40 dogs divided between three foster homes. We are working moms first and rescuers second. We work hard in our area to rescue homeless dogs and find them forever homes. We also work to help spay/neuter dogs in our area. Only way to correct the homeless dog situation is to spay and neuter. We also work with northern rescues to save more lives.
