Absol is a 1yr old GSD. Look at his ears, and his sweet amber eyes. This guy is so loving and wants to be with people. He knows sit and shake. Absol was returned because he was nipping and doing other GSD things. A female owner may be best. This boy has great potential, and whoever considers adopting him should read about German Shepherd Dogs. They have quirks, but are one of the smartest breeds. He is good with cats and would need to meet dogs**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
