My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Sweets! I bet the first thing you noticed about me was my spectacular ears! Yep! They are amazing! I am a "teenage" terrier mix that was recently picked up by Animal Control. Well I was pretty happy when I got to the shelter and was put in a big clean dog run, got a big bowl of food, and laid down on my comfy bed! Ahhhhhh......Now that's what I'm talking about! I was never claimed by my family and I am now ready for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I bet you will agree that my name is just perfect for me because I am nothing but "sweet!"

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
