My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Lyric!

This purrfect kitty was recently returned back to AFRP after his owner could no longer care for him.

Lyric's foster say he's the sweetest boy who has the most wonderful purr around town! He's a pawfessional biscuit maker, especially using his favorite person's leg for his workspace. He was raised in foster care with his two siblings and his mother who had been semi-feral at the time!

Lyric would love to go to a home with Ember (previously adopted together), but would also do fine in a home with another kitty similar in temperament to him! He is unphased by dogs, and may do fine with a cat-savvy dog given proper introductions. His preferred home is with adult adopters or families with children over the age of 10 who can take the time and patience to continue positive socialization with him!

Lyric is currently in foster care. An in-person meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been received and approved. https://animalfriendsrescue.org

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
