My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHESTER IS ABOUT ONE YEAR OLD, 77 POUNDS. His ancestry is extremely varied as there were 17 breeds found in Chester. All we can say is that he is GORGEOUS and a big boy at 78 pounds. While he does not LOOK like a Great Pyrenees, he has double dew claws on his back legs and has the same, L A I D B A C K personality. Below are the breeds listed on his DNA profile: Great Pyrenees, Australian Cattle Dog, Collie, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow, Husky, Shar Pei, Cocker Spaniel, Golden Retriever, Labrador, Bloodhound, Dalmation, Chihuahua, APBT, Dalmation, American Eskimo.

Basically, Chester is just Chester. He does seem to have more Great Pyrenees traits, as in laid back. We are still getting to know Chester's likes and dislikes. He has a BFF names Maggie who is also waiting for her forever home. They play so well together!!

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based 501c3 organization formed in 2002. Over the years, we have rescued dogs from shelters all over the state, we have taken in abandoned dogs and we have accepted dogs from owners who were unable to continue to care for their pets. Thousands of adoptable pets die each year due to overpopulation and lack of options.
