My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Bertie is a sweet, shy girl who loves ear and neck rubs, and "purrs like mad" when she gets excited. She has a timid nature so she would do best with older kids and adults. She rolls around and scoots closer for love when a human approaches to give her attention. She's very easy to handle and accepts being picked up. With time and more trust, this sweetheart will steal your heart. She's very docile and very sweet - she just wants to be loved. She's not a lap cat yet but may be with time and patience. She LOVES feline greenies!

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
