My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is a sweet and friendly guy. He is learning how to trust and love. He is very curious. When he trusts you he will follow you around like a puppy. He likes to cuddle and be on laps at times. He is food motivated. He will stress eat if you let him. He does well with calm dogs and other cats with the proper introduction. He can get over stimulated and a little bitey, but is not aggressive. His bites are not hard and he will play with wand toys.

Adoption fees: $275 for dogs; $100 for cats (discounts for adoption of pairs).

Adoption application, requiring vet check, landlord check.
Adoption contract requiring pet be returned to us if adopter can not keep. Cats are adopted as INDOOR ONLY and declawing is prohibited.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are available to meet the public on the first through fourth Saturdays of each month at Carwen's Boarding, Grooming, and Training Center, 101 Buttermilk Hollow Road, North Huntingdon, PA, from 11 until 2. They can also be met by appointment by adopters whose applications have been approved.

Our cats are all housed in foster homes. Meet and greets can be scheduled to meet available cats and kittens. We regularly host meet-a-pet events - check our Facebook page for information.
