**Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet.
We’d like to introduce you to Tiffany. Since coming to our home she is truly blossoming into the dog she was meant to be. She truly enjoys all the freedom of sniffing all the smells outside, romping around with her foster sister and going for walks.
Tiffany is working hard on knowing that outside is the place for bathroom business and has been successful thus far. Staying on a schedule and trying to show her humans signs that she needs to go outside has been working so far with only a couple of accidents. She keeps a clean kennel. Tiffany knows that is her safe place. She will go into it easily at night time and often will go lay in it for a nap or to take a break from her foster sister.
Tiffany is having a great time playing with her equal sized foster sister, especially on our deck where they have some room to romp around. She’s learning that toys are for playing and chewing, not shoes and socks. Carpeted floors are a great place for napping. Humans give yummy treats and shower me with attention with a nose nudge.
We don’t know her full history, but she’d been a resident of a shelter for a long time so it may take some time for her to adjust to new surroundings. Every day she continues to come out of her shell. With treat rewards, she has already learned to sit to get leashed up to go outside and taken off when coming in. She sits for treats after doing her business outside. We are early in the walking on leash game but she has impressed us with how quickly she caught on. Tiffany is still a little timid to sudden moves or loud voices, but she will come to you and love you quickly. She just wants to be a good girl and please her humans and be where they are, whether being right next to them or just in the same room. She can be a snuggler but also likes her space. She’s not an attention hog, actually pretty mellow, but when she wants some loving and gets it, she will be your best friend.
Tiffany is ready for adventures and to learn everything there is know about being in a furever home.

Meet our pets through our website, Facebook and fundraisers throughout Southern WI. We are an all foster based rescue and do not have a physical shelter.

More about this rescue

Hoping Fur A Home is a volunteer run dog rescue organization serving the Southern, WI area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
