If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Clark is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and energy. He’s the perfect blend of playful and affectionate — he lives for a good game of fetch, loves to run and explore on long walks, and will happily snuggle up at the end of the day for some well-earned cuddle time.
Clark is incredibly smart and thrives in a calm, structured environment. He’s looking for an experienced, patient dog owner who understands the needs of a sensitive, loyal pup. Like many herding breeds, Clark is very aware of his surroundings — he does have reactive anxiety and can be slow to warm up to new people. He would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who can offer him consistent routines and lots of outdoor time.
Clark is dog-selective — he tends to prefer calm, submissive dogs and doesn’t do well in off-leash group settings. He is not suited for a home with children.
He’s crate-trained, house-trained, and happiest when he has a job to do — even if it’s just being your most loyal
