My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At just 17 lbs, and 3+ yrs old, Stewart is such a good boy with a calm demeanor and lower energy level. He prefers a quieter household with non rambunctious fur siblings, as he is a quiet boy himself. Stewart is crate trained, does fantastic on a leash and loves his walks. If you are looking for a small cuddle bug that is quiet, loving, loyal & a great companion, this little beagle mix is your boy.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
