If you love scruffy dogs and you love fluffy dogs, then you are going to fall head over heels in love with Nell. This girl has a gorgeous coat that is the perfect blend of scruff, fluff, and color. If you think she is beautiful now, wait until you see her in person! Nell is 6 months old and weighs about 56lbs. We don't expect her to get too big, maybe 70lb range? Yes, I know for some that seems really big but for us big dog lovers...that is nothing! ;)
Nell is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. I know....she scores a perfect score when it comes to getting along with others. It really doesn't get better than that! While you are trying to process how awesome that is, let me throw something else your way. Nell is also potty and kennel trained. Yep...you read that right. She is still a puppy but we already know she is good with everything AND has the basics down. If you were trying to resist this girl, I am pretty sure all hope of passing on this girl just flew out the window!
Nell enjoys being near her people and will often follow her foster family around while they do their chores. So, in Nell you can trust that she will always be there. She will be there to lay down on the fresh laundry you were folding, walk around in your freshly swept dirt and fur pile, and lay down in the most inconvenient places..causing you to put your flexibility skills to the test! Nell is a good mix of playful and calm. She hasn't really been out in public too much but in time would probably enjoy going places with her new family if they were into that. She would also be just as happy hanging out at home, playing with the other dog(s), kids, her toys, and just romping around the yard.
Nell isn't into getting up at the crack of dawn and going for a 5-mile run. She also isn't someone who can sleep the day away either though and makes one wonder if she is even still alive. So, let's settle for a family somewhere in the middle of that. Someone who will keep Nell entertained and stimulated but also lets her have her day naps and lazy moments too.
