Hello! My name is Chickpea (9 months old) because of how sweet and dainty I am. I was born as a stray and because I was born in the wild, I am less trusting of people initially. I am working hard on spending time around my foster and her friends without being afraid. One thing that gets me out and close to humans every time is human food! I love food! I love to share my foster mom’s meals with her and it gives us the opportunity to be close and me to learn to trust. I also enjoy playing with my siblings, long naps in the cat tree or in a comfy bed, cat nip play time, yummy wet food snacks or my ball track toy. Because of my fears, I would do best in an all-adult home with people who would be willing to help me learn to trust. Ideally, I could bring a sibling or two along with me to play with and so we could help each other to adapt to family living. Or I would at least need another cat living in the home to help me learn how to cat. My foster says that I am super sweet and will be quite the charmer once I learn that humans aren’t so scary.
All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. She has also been spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Chickpea, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.
