Hello, my name is Angel and I came into the shelter as a stray. I`m about 4 years old and weigh about 48lbs.

I`m a very adorable pit that loves to give hugs and kisses!! I also love to cuddle with people.

I love to go for walks and play outside. I get along with other dogs and love to play with toys. I would be good to go into a home with a nice family.

A big fence in yard would be awesome! I do love to be around humans a lot and love to follow them around everywhere. A big loving family would be ideal. I would also love to curl up on a nice cozy bed and sleep after hard days work of play.
Taking family trips is one of my biggest dreams!!

I have to be in a home with NO CATS!

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
