My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

wagoninn.rescuegroups.org

Morticia is a gorgeous girl who is currently with our partner rescue in Louisiana. Morticia is hoping to come to NJ soon if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters.

Morticia is a sweet girl who loves attention. Morticia is now in a foster home in Louisiana and she is doing great! Morticia was nervous at first but settled in quickly to her foster home. She is happy, easygoing and eager to please. Morticia really likes her crate and often goes in on her own. She prefers to take treats in the crate as well as her food. She slept in her crate overnight without issue. Morticia is housebroken and she knows sit. Her foster family is working on stay and also on not jumping up on new friends. She learns very quickly and likes training! She is very dog friendly!

Morticia is fixed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
