Petey is a handsome boy who is looking for a home. Petey is now in a NJ foster home.
Petey used to be a timid boy who was scared of his shadow but he has made an amazing transformation in his Louisiana foster home! His foster dad took him everywhere and got him used to meeting new friends. Petey is doing GREAT now! He is a happy, friendly boy. On occasion if something scares him he may revert back to his timid self but it is short lived. Petey is dog friendly! He is OK with cats - mostly afraid of them.
Petey is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He recently completed treatment for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
