Welcome our new little cutie! He found himself as a stray in pretty bad shape. He’s just about 6 months old and has no hair on his face and head. 💔 They did a skin scraping and determined he has demodex mites. He saw a vet last night who prescribed him a round of antibiotics. This poor guy is covered in bumps all over his body. Hoping the meds kick in quickly because his skin condition does not look very comfortable.
We picked him up late last night and gave him a warm medicated bath. Tatum definitely enjoyed the bath and lots of attention. He is a little guy maybe around 30-35 lbs so we aren’t sure how much he will grow. His hind legs look like he was crated too much. 💔
He is scheduled to see our vet first thing Monday morning! Thanks to our volunteer Nicole for scooping him up for the weekend. He needs a FOSTER home immediately. He is dog friendly but will need some time to heal.
