My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby & Ryan
Ruby - Domestic Shorthair, Born May 2023, Tortie Tabby, Spayed Female
Ryan - Domestic Shorthair, Born May 2023, Orange & White Tabby, Neutered Male

OK, boys and girls ~ today we’re going to learn all about the letter “R”.  First and most importantly, R is for me, Ruby!, and my brother, Ryan!  Now, you might think that’s all there is, but no, there’s more! R is also for:

Radiant – our foster mom says that’s the purrfect word to describe us and our purrsonalities!  We are real charmers most of the time, but oh, those occasional little hissy fits?  Well, that’s just a touch of sass to keep everyone on their toes!

Rambunctious – yup, that’s a good word for us too!  We love, love, love to play with our toys or chase through the house and wrestle each other as we go.

Respectful – ummm, this one’s about you, not us.  We are looking for some furever people who will respect our preference for a quiet and peaceful home, and our need to take things slow.  We are still pretty shy and can get scared when things around us change.

Well, the list of R words is endless, Really, but we think you get the idea.  So, if you are someone who is looking to Rescue two Rascally youngsters and give them a loving home to Reside in, then you should come meet us ~ Right now!

Ryan and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
