Not good with children and he will require a very ALPHA owner to work with him on his manners!
LEVI is just 1 years old, he weighs 22 lbs, and is a neutered Mini Schnauzer/Bouvier Des Flandres mix who has a gorgeous brown and gray curly coat which will require diligent upkeep and professional grooming. Levi has average energy and demeanor and he will require a yard that he can run around and explore in, a home with an owner who will be working from home, retired, or single and active owner who can provide a lot of exercise for him. Levi is current on vaccines, is microchipped and neutered.
Levi has had a lot of turmoil in his young life. He ended up in the shelter at just a year old; he was adopted and returned back to the shelter in less than a month for being too rough with a child, therefore, a home with no children is a must. Levi is very young, rambunctious and very trainable!
Levi has recently been adopted and returned (yet again) after a month and he is very sad at the moment and we are truly heartbroken for him. Our contract states that his adopter will get a trainer to work with him and his recent adopters refused to do that. They chose to return him; first stating that he barked, then they decided to keep him, then they decided to return him again, stating that he doesn’t like to be picked up. He’s a 22 lbs dog and if he doesn’t want to be picked up….don’t pick him up! It’s really that simple.
Levi is very handsome and he would love nothing more than a forever family to call his own! He needs a hero. He needs someone who won’t give up on him - who will work with him. Will that someone be you?
