Dogs: Loves other confident small-breed dogs and ones to play with under 10 pounds.

Grooming: Nails every 6-8 weeks
Bath and Tidy every couple of months full groom every 3-4 months.

I have undergone crate training for sleeping during nighttime or when you are away from home. Currently, I am experiencing the puppy stage, which has resulted in certain previously non-frightening things becoming sources of fear. Although I may bark within my crate, I eventually settle down once I recognize that it is bedtime.

In the event that I am vocalizing loudly and pawing at the crate door, it is imperative that you let me outside immediately as I have an urgent need to relieve myself. I will promptly attend to my pottying needs outdoors.

I require a variety of suitable chew toys, enrichment treats such as lick mats, and treat balls, among other things. I have a history of chewing on inappropriate items because I am a puppy and still learning. This is where Joanna from For The Love Of Paws Pet Services comes in to assist me and my new family.

I am a very affectionate puppy who enjoys giving kisses and cuddling with you on the couch or a chair while watching TV. I enjoy playing fetch and chewing on my toys.

I am not a suitable pet for apartments, condominiums, or townhouses due to my vocal nature. I require a home with a yard where I can play and run freely.

**Disclaimer:
We only adopt to force free homes, the adoptive family must continue force free practices after adoption.
We are volunteer based and although we would love to respond to all the applications, we can only contact the homes we want to move forward with.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% not-for-profit society and are volunteer-run and are located in the Edmonton capital region. We are a foster home placement-based rescue. There is NO SHELTER with our rescue. Our rescue works closely with several local rescue groups in Alberta. We have worked with rescue shelters in the United States, and we will transport small breed dogs that are about to be euthanized, then place the dogs in foster homes until a forever family is found. We will provide care for toy-sized and small-breed dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them. They are placed in stable foster homes until a forever home is found.
