My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Hamilton to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 9-month old Schnoodle dog. He weighs about 50 pounds. He is good with other dogs. He is good on a leash and not a shedding dog. He would be great for someone wanting a low shedding dog. He may need grooming to have a beautiful coat. He was found as a stray with his leash and collar on. Every attempt was made to locate his owner. His owner could not be found. He is now at the CCPAL Rescue looking for his forever home. This is a great find in Rescue. We hardly ever have the designer breed dogs. He has sit down and is good in a car. He would be fine with children. We always like them to be 8 or older. Someone not gone all day every day would be best for a younger dog. He needs to be continually taken out and socialized so he stays a social boy. He is smart and attentive. He has lots of personality and is very affectionate. He is healthy, vaccinated and is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas. We can adopt out locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. This dog would be 1000s of dollars from a breeder. We always say adopt don’t shop!! Here it is!! Please be patient if you apply for this dog. He will generate lots of interest, texts, emails, calls etc. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers. We will work to place him in the best fitting home and it isn’t an instant process. It will take a few days up to a week to go through applications. Thanks so much for understanding. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See his cute video.
