My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wrangler!

This three-year-old, 50-pound Pointer/Aussie mix has a timid tenderness about him that you can't help but love! He's ready to say so long to kennel life and "wrangle" the family he's been longing for!

Sadly, Wrangler is struggling to adjust to kennel life. He would much rather be off cruising the yard or snuggling in a warm blanket. Wrangler gives the sweetest nose kisses that you just have to experience for yourself! If you'd like to foster Wrangler while we search for his forever family, please submit a foster application on our website!

Not just a handsome face, Wrangler knows "sit" and "shake". He is a very smart boy who is quite capable and eager to learn! When his little nub starts wiggling, it'll bring a smile to your face for sure. He enjoys a nice full-body massage and when he lends his paw in friendship, you know you have a pal for life!

Wrangler loves to explore and a yard for him to enjoy is a must! He absolutely loves his time outside and will roll around on the grass hoping for a belly rub. He will benefit from daily exercise and we can't think of a better way to spend your time than hanging with this fella!

Based on our evaluation, we feel Wrangler would do well in a home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the potential to live with other dogs of a similar size and energy level. He will need to go to a cat-free home with no small animals due to his prey drive. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.

If you think Wrangler sounds like your kind of man, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit an application!
