My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bandit, a 5-year-old dog with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with energy. His friendly nature is contagious, bringing smiles to everyone he meets. Bandit's independent streak shines through his playful antics and smart tricks, making him a joy to be around. While Bandit is selective with his animal companions, he adores teens and adults who can help him release some of his energy. Bandit, with his lively spirit and loving heart, is not just a pet but a companion who will enrich your life with his unique personality. His adoption will not only provide him a loving home but also bring joy, love, and playful energy into yours. Visit us any day between 1-5pm to meet this handsome boy!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet through the Laramie Peak Humane Society. LPHS strives to provide a hassle free adoption process that provides every adopter and potential pet with the best experience possible. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please submit a complete Adoption Application as soon as possible. Your application must include 2-3 references, and your veterinarians contact information. Once received, your application will be processed, references will be checked, and a home visit (excluding cats) will be scheduled at your earliest convenience.

Please note: The adoption process consists of three steps:

1. Complete Adoption Application Submitted

2. References Checked

3. Successful Home Visit completed (excluding cats)

The adoption process takes 24-72 hours to complete. Applications continue to be accepted, and an animal remains “available” until an adoption is finalized. Animals are placed after all 3 steps are successfully completed.

It is our policy to spay or neuter any dog that is old enough for our vets to alter.

Dog adoption fees are $125 for puppies (under 1), $100 for adults, and $30 for Senior dogs (8+). Dogs come microchipped, vaccinated, and altered.

It is our policy to spay or neuter any cat that is old enough for our vets to alter.

Cat adoption fees are$75 for kittens (under 1), $60 for adults, and $15 for Senior cats (11+). All of our cats are required to be indoor cats, unless otherwise specified.
