My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for a tear-jerker, look no further. Meet Frank. Frank is a sweet as can be 8 year old bull terrier. Frankie boy was abandoned in the middle of the night, tied up to a street lamp. Frank was severely malnourished and had a bad skin infection. Thankfully, he got the help he needed and is in full recovery! He will be covered in hair and meaty soon enough! Due to his skin issues he may need to be on a special diet long term or take allergy medication.
Frank loves to play tug of war and fetch. Even more, he loves to cuddle up and get lots of loving. Frank LOVES any person he makes eye contact with. He is, however, peculiar about his dog friends. While nonreactive in public, Frank would do best as the only pet in the household. Reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet!

Additional adoption info

Southside Strays adopts dogs out as indoor companions, not as outdoor guard dogs. Most of the pets that come through our door had either been abandoned or spent way too long wandering the streets. It's their turn to enjoy the life of a spoiled bed-hog! We do require home checks before the adoption process is complete to ensure our dogs are going to a safe home.
