Introducing Meers!

Age: 5 years old

Breed: Siamese

Arrival Date: 2/16/2024

Meet Meers, a peaceful and slightly reserved 5-year-old Siamese cat! Despite appearing introverted at first, Meers cherishes warm cuddles and comfortable, lengthy naps.

Behavior with Cats, Other Dogs, and Children

Meers blends well with other cats. An environment with older children and a serene ambiance would be the ideal fit for his tranquil and quiet character. His behavior with dogs is unknown, thus gentle and careful introductions are recommended.

 Personality

Meers, a relaxed and somewhat shy feline, delights in life's quieter moments. He loves to nestle in for a nap and enjoys soft strokes when he feels secure. This peaceful cat would make an excellent companion for a peaceful and tranquil home.

 Skills/Training

Being litterbox trained, Meers will find his transition to a new home more straightforward. His serene and slightly reserved nature indicates that he will best thrive with a patient owner who respects personal boundaries.

 Medical

Meers is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, preparing him for a healthy life in his new home. Currently, he is being treated for an eye infection, which is why his eyes may appear more closed than usual. However, they will be back to normal once he finishes his medication. Regular vet check-ups will be vital for maintaining his health and well-being, especially during his ongoing treatment.

 Likes/Dislikes

Meers finds contentment in quiet cuddles and peaceful naps. He isn't partial to loud noises and prefers the calming environment of hushed spaces.

If you're searching for a tranquil, quiet, and cuddly feline companion, Meers could be your ideal match. Fill out an application to meet Meers; he might be the soothing, caring addition to your family you've been hoping for!

More about this rescue

The Homeless Pets Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by Dr. Michael Good, an Atlanta veterinarian who saw a need to create an organization that could assist animal shelters and pet owners in need. In the Atlanta area alone, there are more than 100,000 animals destroyed each year for lack of a home. The Foundation provides critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort to these homeless animals.
