Meet Mr Bruce. This young man didn't have a home so he went into Lowes to buy some lumber to build a house. Once inside he realized he didn't have truck to haul his lumber, or money to buy it for that matter, so he found a dog loving sucker to follow around and convinced her to help him with his home situation. At 10 months old this young man knows the way to a woman's heart! He is leash trained and prefers to hold it himself or play tug with you while walking. He uses the doggy door in the kennel and sits for his meals and treats. He is neutered, up to date on shots and is looking for a warm house and loving family. He has gotten along with the rescue dogs he has met but is a bit too rambunctious for the senior pack so probably no small children. Additional adoption info

Please go to www.krrtx.org and click on forms/applications of the left hand side to complete an adoption application. Upon receipt, reference, vet checks and a home visit will be completed and then meet and greets will be scheduled. When a pet is selected the adoption contract is signed and $170 fee will be collected. If dog does not work out for any reason, the dog must come back to this rescue.

Katie's Roadside Rescue is a 501c3 animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or side of the road to fend for themselves. Donations and volunteers are the heart of KRR and could not function without the generous help from others. All dogs will be fully vetted prior to adoption. Because of KRR's mission, all dogs must come back to this rescue so they never have to worry about being dumped again. All support is greatly appreciated and needed.
