My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Chihuahua, Pug mix
Female, 7 years old (estimated), 11 pounds

Lucky Charms is a sweet pup who has tail wags and whole body wiggles for everyone she meets. She gets so excited to make new friends that she seems barely able to contain herself! With a heart of gold and a larger than life personality, lucky charms really seems to be the whole package (a tiny bite sized package!). She enjoys going for walks in the neighborhood, eating all the delicious snacks, and snuggling the day away.

This sweet girl does great with children and dogs in her foster home but has displayed some leash reactivity towards dogs when out and about. Worry not! A little positive reinforcement based training will greatly help manage her leash reactivity. Lucky has not yet had the opportunity to meet any kitties so we are not sure how she will do with them just yet.

Poor girl was found wandering the streets of San Jose (already missing her eye) when a good Samaritan stepped in to get her the help she needed. Lucky became quite lucky indeed when she joined our program to find her forever home.
