Meet Honda Civic!
This pretty kitty came to HSoP as a stray a few short weeks ago. Unfortunately, she was not claimed by an owner. We estimate Honda Civic to be around 1 year old. She's being spayed today (Wednesday, February 21st) and should be all ready to go home beginning tomorrow! She's currently up to date on vaccines, too.
Honda Civic has been pretty shy and slow to come out of her shell since arriving at the shelter. She doesn't hiss or swat at anyone, but instead gets herself low to the ground and tries to hide as best she can. When having free time in our adoption room, Honda Civic prefers to find a safe place to tuck away in and wait. She appreciates comfy beds and can usually be found observing the lobby from the back of her hideaway kitty bed. Honda Civic would likely make a great couch ornament in her new home!
She accepts pets from our staff, visitors, and volunteers, but hasn't shown very much enthusiasm for human connection quite yet. Our hope is that Honda Civic will build the confidence she needs to thrive and be happy once she's established in a consistent home of her own.
We aren't sure how Honda Civic gets along with dogs, other cats, or small animals, but we do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit for the whole family. She will leave the shelter with a microchip containing her new owner's information.
