My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who is looking to add the most perfect pocket sized little lady to their family?? Did we mention she is dog friendly with dogs of all shapes, sizes, personalities and genders?? Fiona is an absolute DOLL BABY and so loved in her crazy foster home where she currently resides with 13 other dogs…. Yes, you read that correctly!! It’s quite the pack, ranging from a tiny chihuahua, all the way up to a Great Pyrenees and Great Dane and everything in between.  She is respectful of the dogs who are a bit grumpy and not interested in playing, but absolutely loves roughhousing with her playful maniac foster siblings. She takes correction well from her four legged friends and is overall very appropriate in her interactions.

Fiona is a 3-4yr old 40lb pocket pup.  She arrived here looking like a skeleton but packed on the pounds at an amazing rate! She is scheduled to be spayed next week and then will be officially ready for her forever home.  Fiona is the PERFECT mix of playful energy and “Netflix and chill”. She walks like a perfect angel on a leash and goes potty right away when taken outside.  She is crate trained and genuinely loves her crate… she puts herself away for naps throughout the day.  Fiona is super affectionate and LOVES to snuggle up with you, in bed, on the couch, on the floor… you pick the place, she will be there to cuddle.

Fiona would thrive in many different scenarios of homes.  She truly is the bestest of girls. She would be fine in a low key house with or without other dogs.  She would do amazing in an active house that does fun things like hiking etc and plays outside a lot.  She loves having zoomies outside! She is pretty perfect, to be honest!

No kitties for Fiona, as she does have a bit of a prey drive and was quite interested in the barn cats she met here.

More about this rescue

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
