Clifford is a 3 year old silly goose with a love for other dogs and people. He is a very social guy with a variety of interests and hobbies. A few include tug of war, treats, playing ball, cuddling, squeaky toys, and paling around with other dogs. He walks fairly well on a leash and even knows "sit", "come" and "shake". We recommend a 6+ foot secure fence for him and plenty of things to keep him busy and happy! He would excel with further training in basic obedience and possibly crate training as well depending on how long and how frequently he will be left alone. He is going to be an incredible companion to those lucky enough to adopt him!
Age: 3 Years Other Dogs: Yes! Cats: yes, he did wonderfully with our shelter kitty Kids: he would likely do great with older kids who are not knocked over so easily by a big, happy dog! Weight: 72 pounds Leash behavior: Walks fairly well on leash. Occasionally pulls but is responsive. Fencing: Secure 6 foot fencing required. Home Type: Active
If you are interested in adopting Clifford please fill out our online application. Once your application has been reviewed and approved we will work with you to schedule an appointment. Please no "drop-ins" to view dogs without an appointment. All High Sierra Animal Rescue dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate shots, micro-chipped, tested for heart worm, given heart worm preventative medication each month, and de-wormed.
